Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL) is a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Mines, established in 1967. The company is the country’s only vertically integrated copper producer, engaged in the entire value chain from mining and beneficiation to smelting, refining, and manufacturing of downstream copper products. Headquartered in Kolkata, HCL manages mines and plants spread across Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and Maharashtra, encompassing operations at Malanjkhand, Khetri, Indian Copper Complex (ICC), and Taloja, among others.
